Up for auction is a vintage 1965 Aurora Thunderjet 500

#1951 Set with original white Cheetah and red Alpha
(Alfa)
Romeo
HO slotcars,
tested with bottom track contacts touching directly to screw terminals
of transformer
, both cars rear wheels turned quickly.
The Toronado and Hot Rod
when tested with transformer
the rear wheels
moved intermittently
(need maintenance or repair). In good condition, does need some tender loving care, please see the 12 pictures to aide your decision to bid, actual auction items are shown.
The box has tape repairs
on corner seams
, still in very good shape for being 57 years old, also has 3
original
complete inter packaging box containers (3 tops, 3 bottoms). Box measures approximately 21-1/2" x 16" x 3" and with contents weighs approximately 9 pounds 6 ounces unpacked. U.S dollar bill shown for size reference only.
